Mount a 70mm wheel rim to your MOZA direct drive base.
The MOZA Quick Release Adapter is made for drivers who want to use a compatible third-party steering wheel rim on a MOZA direct drive wheel base. Inspired by real racing quick release systems and built with an aviation-grade aluminum alloy housing, it creates a solid mechanical connection between the wheel rim and the base.

Use your preferred rim while keeping the MOZA quick release feel.
A direct drive base can feel completely different depending on the wheel rim you mount to it. This adapter is useful when you want to use a round rim, drift rim, classic rim or other compatible 70mm wheel on a MOZA base without permanently changing your cockpit setup.
Designed for compatible wheel rims with a 70mm bolt pattern.
Use the MOZA quick release mechanism to swap between setups more cleanly.
Creates a secure mechanical connection suitable for MOZA force feedback bases.
The release concept is based on motorsport-style quick release hardware.
Six bolt holes, measured across the pitch circle.
The 70mm PCD specification does not describe the outside diameter of the adapter. It describes the pitch circle: an imaginary 70mm diameter circle that runs through the center of all six wheel-side mounting holes. Your wheel rim must match this 6 x 70mm pattern for a correct mechanical fit.

Mechanical steering only with third-party wheels.
MOZA lists the adapter as compatible with all MOZA bases. When it is used with third-party wheel rims, only the steering function is supported. That means the adapter provides the mechanical quick release connection; it does not add MOZA wheel electronics, buttons, paddle inputs, display functions or telemetry features to a third-party rim.
Designed for MOZA direct drive wheel bases.
For compatible third-party rims with matching bolt pattern.
Third-party wheels do not gain MOZA button or electronics support through this adapter.
Use suitable bolts and confirm wheel-side fitment before installation.
Build the wheel side carefully before clipping it onto the base.
Because the quick release becomes the mechanical link between your hands and a direct drive motor, fitment matters. Align the adapter with the wheel rim, tighten the wheel-side hardware evenly and check that the quick release locks fully into the MOZA base before driving.
Check that the wheel rim uses a compatible 70mm mounting pattern.
Mount the quick release to the wheel rim using suitable hardware and even tightening.
Connect to the MOZA base and verify the quick release is fully seated before use.
One base, more wheel styles.
Different rim shapes change how a sim feels. A round rim can work better for drifting and rally, a classic rim can suit road cars, and a larger rim can feel more natural for cruising or older race cars. This adapter makes those wheel-side experiments easier inside the MOZA ecosystem.
Is this a complete MOZA steering wheel?
No. It is a quick release adapter. A third-party rim mounted through this adapter will steer the car, but it will not become a MOZA wheel with buttons or paddles.
Why use the official adapter?
It keeps the connection style matched to MOZA bases and uses an aluminum alloy body designed for sim racing force feedback loads.
