WindSim ControlBox Setup Guide for SimHub

1. Install SimHub Software

Download and install SimHub on your computer. This software controls the WindSim functionality within your sim racing setup.

2. Activate ShakeIt Wind Plugin

In SimHub, go to Plugins and activate the ShakeIt Wind plugin to manage wind effects for your WindSim.

3. Configure Output

Navigate to Output Configuration in the ShakeIt Wind plugin. Activate Arduino to control the WindSim hardware.

4. Channel Configuration

Assign Channel 1 to Left and Channel 2 to Right. This ensures the WindSim responds accurately to in-game events like speed and cornering.

5. Set Up Wind Profile

Go to the Wind Profile card, where you can adjust wind effects to match your preferences and game conditions.

Multiple Arduino Devices Setup

If you use additional devices such as iFlag or a button box, follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings > Arduino in SimHub.
  2. Select My Hardware.
  3. Enable Multiple Arduinos to connect and control multiple devices simultaneously.
